Bespoke solid-wood bookcase spanning a whole living-room wall.

Bespoke furniture

The piece no catalogue has

Bookcases, tables, living-room furniture and pieces for awkward corners. In Asturias, I design and build the one-off piece your home needs.

One-off pieces

From an idea to a piece that lasts

  1. 01

    The idea and the spot

You tell me what you need and where it goes. I measure the space and we talk proportions, use and materials. Many pieces are born from a corner no standard furniture can solve.

  2. 02

    Design and wood

I draw the piece and we choose the wood for its grain and colour. A one-off piece is designed to last and to age well.

  3. 03

    Made by hand

I build it myself in the workshop. The joints, the edges and the finish are done by hand — which is what sets a signature piece apart from flat-pack furniture.

  4. 04

    Delivery and fitting

I deliver and fit the piece in your home, adjusted to its spot. I check the edges and how it works before I call it finished.

Materiales

Woods
01

Woods

Solid and veneered oak, walnut and ash, chosen piece by piece for their grain, colour and the way they age.

Finishes
02

Finishes

Oils and waxes that let the wood show, or premium lacquered finishes when the piece calls for them.

Joinery
03

Joinery

Exposed joints worked by hand where they add to the design. The detail that sets a signature piece apart from flat-pack furniture.

Questions about one-off pieces

¿No ves tu duda?

Write to me
Do you work from a photo or a sketch of mine?

Yes. A photo from a magazine, a sketch or a piece you like all work as a starting point. I adapt it to your space and your budget.

Which woods do you use?

Oak, walnut, ash and others depending on the piece. I choose the wood for how it behaves and how it ages, not just for its initial colour.

Do you restore or alter furniture I already own?

Small jobs only for clients I already work with, with minimal intervention. It is not how I take on new work, but I look after those who have already trusted me.

How much does a one-off piece cost?

It depends on the size, the wood and the work. I give you a fixed price after seeing the spot and talking through the scope.
