The workshop
One craft, one master, one signature
I am Iñaki Alejo. I have spent decades working wood in Asturias. Every kitchen, every wardrobe and every piece that leaves my workshop, I make myself — from the first measure to the fitting.

Fewer projects, better made
I work alone and take on a limited number of projects a year. It is a choice, not a limitation.
- 01
One person accountable
I measure, design, build and fit it all myself, and tend every finish. I do not subcontract the process, so there is no one to pass the blame to if something is not right: it is on me.
- 02
Full attention
By taking on few projects at a time, each one gets the time it needs. I do not build against the clock or compete on volume.
- 03
The finish as signature
The lacquer and the final detailing are where a signature piece stands out. It is the step I tend most and where I allow no shortcuts.
Materials
I work only with premium materials
The material is half the craft. I choose every wood, every stone, every piece of hardware and every joint for how it behaves and how it ages. A sample of what comes into the workshop.
